Resolved Question: looking for new music.. any ideas?

i really like rock and not so into pop in as much as the pop that is just someone singing a song where the lyrics mean nothing and its the same old melody line. here are some of my favourite people.. Goo goo dolls lifehouse bon jovi acdc poison meatloaf delta goodrem pink keith urban kelly clarkson simple plan neil diamond buckcherry hinder green day powderfinger silverchair nirvana sum 41 gavin degraw 3 doors down switch foot rise against sugar cult jeff buckley......... i cant think of anything at the moment but i like music where the lyrics mean something and i really like that raspy sounding voice like John Rzeznik i also dont mind mindless pop if it has a really up tempo beat thougheither. any suggestions i'll check out oh and im also interested in finding some more metal sort of bands but not so metal it will make me cry and where i can still understand the words. lol thanks i love third eye blind! i completly forgot about them! awesome and i remember oasis. theyre pretty cool...
